Rent-to-Own이라는 독특한 모델을 가진 디비홈 Divvy도 2억불을 펀딩하며 밸류에이션도 2B이 됐다. 이들의 밸류에이션이 정말 가파르게 오르고 있는데 레딧의 경우에는 7B에서 이번에 10B으로 오른 것이고, 카르타는 이전 밸류에 비해 2배, 디비는 4배가 오른 것이라고 한다. 이런 스타트업의 엄청난 거액 펀딩과 밸류 급등은 전세계적인 현상이다. 한국도 마찬가지다. 위는 CB인사이츠가 집계한 글로벌 스타트업펀딩 통계인데 지난 2분기에만 무려 156B이 스타트업에 투자됐다고 한다. 한국의 경우에도 지난 7월 한 달만해도 스타트업 투자금이 무려 3조원에 달했다. 야놀자가 소프트뱅크비전펀드에서 2조원을 투자유치했기 때문이다. 야놀자의 밸류에이션도 위에 언급한 레딧과 비슷한 10조원이 됐다. 이런 현상은 당분간 계속될 것으로 생각한다. 전세계적으로 증시가 초활황인데다 테크 기업들의 주가는 특히 좋다. 빅테크 회사들의 시총은 몇 배가 올랐다. 그 회사들에 투자했던 VC들도 이미 엄청난 수익률을 올렸고 그 덕분에 LP들에게 돈을 더 받아 더 큰 펀드들을 결성해 적극적으로 투자하고 있다. 이렇게 시장에 돈이 넘치고 좋은 스타트업 투자 경쟁이 벌어지니 밸류에이션은 자연스럽게 올라갈 수 밖에 없다. 다만 어느 정도 검증된 유명 후기 단계의
